Some of us spent 2015, 16, 17, 18 telling our well meaning “Our Institutions are strong!” friends that nobody needs to spend years training a “Deportsion Force” because we have the neighbors and the whole point of a “Deportation Force” is that they’re hardly trained at all. Just sayin.

These same people have been failing us my entire life in just this way, while Sen. Sanders has been out there being The Actual Good Guys for just as long. The fact that he’s still an utter anomaly slash tiny minority is grotesquely depressing. And now, bonus, dangerous.
