Generalized statements like this one are risky. The statement assumes that 2.4 GHz is not working well in all households, and the speeds it offers are too slow. That is not necessarily the case everywhere. Some peoples' needs are perfectly met with the 2.4 GHz routers.

I find it disgusting when people show excitement about something that can result in people being hurt or killed. How would people who lost loved ones in traffic accidents or heart attacks as a result of the wintry weather feel if they knew others were excited about that weather occurring?
