Concerned about potentially hazardous travel well into Sunday. Increased winds may lead to near blizzard conditions especially rural roads. As the sun sets Sunday aftn, any melting will likely freeze. Get road conditions from Iowa DOT 511 app or at 511ia.org.

Many people have been asking today, “How are the roads?” Here is the answer.
November 29, 2025 at 9:12 PM
Many roads in the region are currently 100% snow and/or ice covered according to state DOTs. Tow bans presently exist in several counties too. You can receive free travel condition information from the Iowa DOT 511 app or the Iowa DOT 511 website at 511ia.org.

Most winter weather crashes tend to occur with minor snowfall amounts, not several inches. Over one-third of all winter weather crashes in Iowa have occurred with only a trace to 1 inch of snow. Nearly 75% have occurred with less than 2 inches. Drive safely!

RealPage cannot take all the blame. The landlords' core motivation appears to be greed. Thus, RealPage only helped them further their agendas. The landlords should instead determine fair rental terms and treat their tenants with respect.
