made him some skeletal hands tonight (3 fingers is plenty on his world), tomorrow I'll look for some pipe foam or pool noodles to give his arms a little mass and hopefully start making the hands/forearms with foam clay. Probably wrapping with wire cloth first

No time to upgrade my alien buddy GORLAK as I wanted, but I am finally giving him posable arms. Cut up an old lawn chair with the ratcheting joints, now need to make armature for his hands from... something. I'll use some bendy metal wire and clay foam over those.

could be wrong but I thought usually with a historical building of significance to mitigate shock and structural damage when making additions, you don't just slam and shovel into it with a backhoe
