These animals got into my house a few weeks ago and I can't get them to leave so I guess they live here now — happy Caturday!

Super Mario Bros (1993) theory: since irl Bob Hoskins was ≈18 years older than John Leguizamo, I suggest that Luigi isnt Mario's brother but actually his illegitimate son from a teenage dalliance, and he has kept this secret for decades so as not to offend the very Catholic extended Mario family

If they are (unbeknownst to Luigi) father and son rather than brothers, this complicates their onscreen relationship and "sibling rivalry" and mirrors not the relationship between the film's two idiot henchmen (whose names I can't remember; Spike is one) who are either brothers or brothers-coded, but that of both of them with the villainous King Koopa (Dennis Hopper), who I think is their dad (at any rate they are stand-ins for the Koopa Kids from SMB3, so he should be their dad, whatever — the details of the script of the SMB movie are not something I have expertise on). Anyway I'm right.
