Imagine an MP opposed to women's suffrage putting in a bill to give women the right to vote, as he thought it would fail. Only for the bill to pass in Parliament.

That actually happened in South Australia, in 1894.

Many interesting facts in the article.

Once again, no one chooses to become disabled.

It’s not a moral failing or something a person can “try harder” and avoid.

You are not owed our medical history or an explanation.

You are not the arbiter of who’s disabled “enough”.

Disability advocacy is not for the faint of heart.

You lose friends. People get upset that you’re not hiding your illness .

People expect things of you that you can’t give. There’s no grace when you get something wrong (which will happen).

Everyone doing this is a warrior!

From what I know about history, opulence by rulers during times of economic turbulence has led to significant consequences.
Oh look, there are renderings. The Versailles jokes make themselves. Also, this architecture firm should be laughed out of existence.

I just hope there are no technical delays before the game against the Oilers.

12 pm start here tomorrow, so I want to get things done after the game (have to do other things before the game too).

It's not surprising the Canadiens are 3-0 in OT.

You start with Suzuki Caufield and Hutson, then follow it with Demidov, Newhook and Matheson.

Not too many teams that can top that really.
