Reconciling Rage with Hope

I struggled with which word to put first. Hope is fleeting. It takes work to maintain. Rage lingers; it sticks with you, ceaselessly demanding attention. /1
Let's try something here. First, let's establish this is a human.
Pay close attention, friends.

Sister, are you a bot?

GOOD NEWS! A groundbreaking study in MORE THAN 1,000 people reveals that cancer patients who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine within 100 days of starting immunotherapy lived dramatically LONGER than those who didn’t. In some cases, their survival rate was DOUBLED.

I'm thinking of all the nasty stuff in Chomsky's record.

Denying the Cambodian genocide. Supporting Milosevic. Denying the Bosnian genocide. Undermining anti-Communist dissidents in Western academia. Cheering the death of Venezuelan democracy. Spreading Russian propaganda.

This is long overdue.
Can't wait to see him whatabout this one.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

The lie: “…non-cynics are kind but dull, and cynics are prickly but sharp.”

Truth: Cynics are not smarter… like frowning doesn’t make a speaker smarter.👀
It’s the cynical genius illusion.

what are you trying to say? That a whole lot of Americans are just mad, want someone to blame, and have no special plan or insight? And that this might be the cause of their own misery? And when faced with the increasingly extreme consequences for their lack of judgment, they simply lash out more?
As we have seen, there is a loud voice to get rid Schumer or have Schumer resign. My questions, who would do better, why and what would make you think a replacement would solidly unify Democrats who’ve never been unified in the Senate for several decades?

This. Shout it from the rooftops.

We have to escape this cycle of madness.
Can we all just come to terms with the fact that many large accounts on here need the Dems to "fail" to keep their content/engagement/likes up?
They pedal in outrage since their very capitalistic livelihoods depend on it.
Take that into account when listening to them...

Good morning readers; Kyiv remains in Ukrainian hands.

In the towns near Ukraine's frontline, Russian FPV drones hunt civilians, a new tactic called a "human safari".

Yana, who lives in Kherson, regularly sees these drones and the damage they cause.
Russia’s disturbing human ‘safaris’
Violating the laws of war, Russians have created a sick game of hunting civilians with FPV drones near the frontline. We take you behind the scenes, to the people most affected.
