This is quite complex to explain to a complete layperson but the two things are so completely different, and obviously so to people who understand them, that it takes some mental realigning to even think of how to approach explaining this, but I'll try (it'll take a thread, sorry).
one thing I find irritating about the AI hype/discourse cycle... among others... what is AI? Is caves of qud "AI" generated? Do we *really* morally distinguish b/w wave function collapse and deep learning/transformers as algos? maybe that CoQ is ethically trained and run locally the difference?
