State Senator. Small business owner. Former teacher. Dad.

Running for governor to build a better Georgia.
Pinned
I’m running to be the next Governor of Georgia.

As a former teacher, small business owner, dad, and state senator, I’ve seen Georgia’s potential because I’ve lived it. Georgia families are just looking for a fair shot.

I’m Jason Esteves, and I know that together we can build a better Georgia.
The Senate ‘deal’ is nothing more than a surrender to Trump’s reckless and cruel agenda that will rip away healthcare from millions of Georgians. I am outraged that Trump is using starving children and families as political pawns—all while Kemp refuses to grow a backbone and stand up for Georgians.

For Trump and his cronies, the cruelty is the point. While the Trump administration refuses to fund SNAP, our state leaders are failing to step up and fill the gap. Kemp— fund food assistance now.

We’re out here in Columbus celebrating our service members and the strength of our community!

It was a pleasure to join the 26th Annual Tri-City Veterans Day Parade with the Muscogee Dems. Thank you to all of our veterans for your sacrifice and service.

It was great sitting down with @knowadebaraso.bsky.social to talk about my vision for a thriving Georgia and the coalition we’re building across the state.

It has been 9 days since I called on Governor Kemp to release emergency funds for SNAP. Families in Georgia are left in limbo, unsure how much aid they’ll get or when it’ll arrive. Meanwhile, Kemp sits on a $14.6 billion surplus.

I’m tired of Georgians working harder than ever and barely getting by because politicians, including my Democratic and Republican opponents, have failed and abandoned us.

Congratulations to Mayor Andre Dickens on his reelection to lead our great city for four more years. I’ve been proud to work with Mayor Dickens, and I look forward to seeing Atlanta’s continued progress under his leadership. www.ajc.com/news/2025/11...

Congratulations to Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard on their incredible wins for Public Service Commission. Victories like this lay the foundation for winning statewide in 2026 and for delivering real relief to Georgia families struggling with rising costs.

Turnout is heavier than expected in Atlanta this morning, but the line at my polling location was moving quickly! Georgians are tired of high power bills and not having a voice on the PSC.

That changes today. Get out and vote for Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard today!

80 of Georgia’s 159 counties lack a full-time OBGYN. Mothers have to travel over an hour or more just to get prenatal care. It’s unacceptable.

As governor, I’ll expand maternal healthcare access so mothers and babies can get the care they need.

Georgia women face geographic gaps in prenatal care
Fewer than half of Georgia's counties have a full-time OB-GYN, according to data analyzed by the AJC, and many women lack the time and money to make regular prenatal visits.

A beautiful Sunday morning in the pews of Allen Temple AME. Grateful for the fellowship, the powerful message, and the reminder that faith, service, and family are at the heart of our fight for a better Georgia.

I had a great time speaking with @authorrandallb.bsky.social for @clutchpoints.bsky.social about investing in HBCUs, the Atlanta Hawks, and how playing basketball has shaped my leadership style on and off the court.

Took a break from the campaign trail to take the kids out trick or treating.

Happy Halloween, everyone! Have fun and stay safe tonight.

Millions of Georgia families will suffer when SNAP benefits run out on Saturday — and Governor Kemp is sitting on a $14.6 billion surplus instead of tackling the crisis.

As governor, I’ll take immediate action to lower costs to keep Georgia families from going hungry.

With SNAP benefits set to expire this Saturday, many families in Georgia will be in dire need of support. My team has put together a list of food pantries across the state.

The Trump admin could act today to keep Georgia families fed but instead they’re using hunger as political leverage.

1.3 million Georgians rely on SNAP benefits to feed themselves and their families.

Nurturing the next generation of leaders starts today.

Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting with incredible young men from the Jack and Jill of Atlanta Leadership Program. Their drive, curiosity, and vision for the future give me hope for what’s ahead.

Before I ever ran for office, I was a public school teacher. That experience changed my life. It hammered home for me what I knew from my own life experience – that education is the foundation of opportunity.

The energy, pride, and Tiger spirit that fills Savannah State University’s community is palpable. As GA’s 1st public HBCU and the 1st institution of higher learning in Savannah, SSU is a cornerstone of excellence and opportunity for generations of students.

I love Savannah so much, I had to come back for a third time! We’re continuing our statewide tour in Midtown Savannah with a stop at TAB Bistro.

Republicans’ refusal to extend ACA subsidies will hurt working families and devastate Georgia’s economy. Soon, we could lose:
➡️ 36,000 jobs
➡️ Health coverage for 460,000 Georgians

This isn’t fiscal responsibility, it’s cruelty.
