State Senator. Small business owner. Former teacher. Dad.

Running for governor to build a better Georgia.
Pinned
I’m running to be the next Governor of Georgia.

As a former teacher, small business owner, dad, and state senator, I’ve seen Georgia’s potential because I’ve lived it. Georgia families are just looking for a fair shot.

I’m Jason Esteves, and I know that together we can build a better Georgia.
Today is a good day for clean, old-fashioned hate. #GoDawgs!

Grateful today and every day for friends, family and sweet potato pie. Wishing everyone a warm, safe, and happy Thanksgiving surrounded by those you love.

We’re building a movement powered by everyday Georgians. Join our volunteer team and help move Georgia forward. Sign up to volunteer and help us connect with neighbors, knock doors, make calls, and keep our momentum going.

Well at least we’re better than the #Aints. Go Falcons!

Sharing my story of growing up in South Columbus with Patricia Murphy brought me right back to the people and places that shaped me. They’re why I believe so deeply in Georgia’s potential, and why I’m fighting for every child to have better opportunities to succeed.

Grateful to join Feeding Georgia Families and an incredible team of volunteers at today’s food distribution event. Every box packed and every family served is a reminder of the power of community and what we can accomplish when we show up for one another.

MTG is resigning, but our work to fight the MAGA politics she championed continues.

I’m running for Governor to organize and deliver results for the hardworking Georgians she and Trump left behind.

A little rain, a lot of grit.

Soccer with Jaeden, then straight to the campaign trail. Let’s go! ⚽️🌧️🔥

I've heard @jasonesteves.bsky.social speak with clarity and conviction on many issues that Georgians care about.

So why is he dodging a controversial topic I know to be important to him personally?

That issue. The CFP Committee ranking his alma mater, Miami, below a team it beat, Notre Dame.

Great day in Augusta on our statewide tour.

Nothing energizes me more than spending time with educators who work with our kids every day. We talked about resources, curriculum, and what the state should be doing to support their work and our families.

BIG News: I just released my universal child care plan that will make early learning affordable and accessible for every family in Georgia. Grateful to have the support of Educators for Jason Chairs, Tracey Nance, Jennifer Saunders, Rep. Mekyah McQueen and Atlanta City Councilmember Eshé Collins

I’m honored to be joined by educators and parents as I roll out my universal child care plan today. These incredible leaders are the first members of our Educators for Jason coalition.

Today, I’m proud to release my plan for universal child care in Georgia.

If Donald Trump or anyone else tries to levy attacks at Georgia, they’re going to have to go through me first. That’s the type of leadership I’ll bring as governor.

The energy was buzzing at Georgia Tech!

GT students are fired up and ready to fight for Georgia’s future.

Ariel and I know the small business grind. We’ve lived the long hours, the risks, and the everyday challenges.

I’ll invest in small businesses across the state by providing low-interest loans that will help folks get on their feet, create thousands of new jobs, and strengthen Georgia’s economy.

Donald Trump and his cheerleaders in Congress have yet again failed the American people, pushing through a reckless plan to gut healthcare access for millions of Georgians.

The passage of Act 358 last week is a huge win for Atlanta seniors. I authored this legislation while in the State Senate to deliver much-needed tax relief and ensure our seniors can continue to live in their homes, and I’ll continue this work as governor to bring down costs.

Today, we honor those who have worn the uniform and the families who stand beside them.

For me, this day hits close to home, coming from a military family and growing up in Columbus near Fort Benning.

The Senate ‘deal’ is nothing more than a surrender to Trump’s reckless and cruel agenda that will rip away healthcare from millions of Georgians. I am outraged that Trump is using starving children and families as political pawns—all while Kemp refuses to grow a backbone and stand up for Georgians.
November 10, 2025 at 1:45 PM
For Trump and his cronies, the cruelty is the point. While the Trump administration refuses to fund SNAP, our state leaders are failing to step up and fill the gap. Kemp— fund food assistance now.

We’re out here in Columbus celebrating our service members and the strength of our community!

It was a pleasure to join the 26th Annual Tri-City Veterans Day Parade with the Muscogee Dems. Thank you to all of our veterans for your sacrifice and service.

It was great sitting down with @knowadebaraso.bsky.social to talk about my vision for a thriving Georgia and the coalition we’re building across the state.

It has been 9 days since I called on Governor Kemp to release emergency funds for SNAP. Families in Georgia are left in limbo, unsure how much aid they’ll get or when it’ll arrive. Meanwhile, Kemp sits on a $14.6 billion surplus.

I’m tired of Georgians working harder than ever and barely getting by because politicians, including my Democratic and Republican opponents, have failed and abandoned us.
