State Senator. Small business owner. Former teacher. Dad.

Running for governor to build a better Georgia.
The passage of Act 358 last week is a huge win for Atlanta seniors. I authored this legislation while in the State Senate to deliver much-needed tax relief and ensure our seniors can continue to live in their homes, and I’ll continue this work as governor to bring down costs.

Today, we honor those who have worn the uniform and the families who stand beside them.

For me, this day hits close to home, coming from a military family and growing up in Columbus near Fort Benning.

We’re out here in Columbus celebrating our service members and the strength of our community!

It was a pleasure to join the 26th Annual Tri-City Veterans Day Parade with the Muscogee Dems. Thank you to all of our veterans for your sacrifice and service.

I’m tired of Georgians working harder than ever and barely getting by because politicians, including my Democratic and Republican opponents, have failed and abandoned us.

Turnout is heavier than expected in Atlanta this morning, but the line at my polling location was moving quickly! Georgians are tired of high power bills and not having a voice on the PSC.

That changes today. Get out and vote for Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard today!

I had a great time speaking with @authorrandallb.bsky.social for @clutchpoints.bsky.social about investing in HBCUs, the Atlanta Hawks, and how playing basketball has shaped my leadership style on and off the court.

With SNAP benefits set to expire this Saturday, many families in Georgia will be in dire need of support. My team has put together a list of food pantries across the state.

Nurturing the next generation of leaders starts today.

Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting with incredible young men from the Jack and Jill of Atlanta Leadership Program. Their drive, curiosity, and vision for the future give me hope for what’s ahead.

Before I ever ran for office, I was a public school teacher. That experience changed my life. It hammered home for me what I knew from my own life experience – that education is the foundation of opportunity.

Beyond honored to be endorsed by Jason Carter. From lowering healthcare and housing costs to investing in schools and small businesses, I’m ready to hit the ground running. Georgia deserves leadership that puts people first, and that’s exactly what I’ll do as governor.

Our state’s strength comes from the people who keep it running — the workers who teach our kids, build our roads, and care for our families. I’ll be a governor who fights for them every single day.
