Indeed charming. And a good lesson to people whose job is to professionally communicate with the public that using sophisticated language is rarely necessary and means you will invariably lose people.

15 years ago, it certainly was better satire. Now that the republican president is carrying out extrajudicial murders of foreign citizens on boats, calling for the execution of politics rivals, etc etc etc etc... it's just an unserious and false thing to even imply could be true.
I hate this sort of meme.
