Did my first pressure Cooking experiment today with some tenderstem broccoli. Tried the famous 0-minute technique and tbh it was undercooked! Question is, next time do we cook for longer? Cook on a higher pressure? Cook less broccoli? Or vent slower? So many options, so little broccoli to experiment

I was present for the birth of the web, the explosion of personal sites, and the blogging revolution, and you know what we never had to do? Beg people to use our shit.

For my 59th birthday next month I've been considering treating myself to a pressure cooker. But I can't decide if I'm ready for the pressure of owning and using a pressure cooker

Trying to get into a habit of going swimming with the baby every Friday afternoon - aiming for between 2-4 ISH

Baby's nap was "scheduled"/"expected" for 2... Didn't go to sleep until 2:45... And currently still asleep

So week 2 and it's already over

The best kind of new year countdown is counting down the max amount of sleep your baby will get before they're inevitably woken up again. We're down to 28 minutes max

One thing I'm not looking forward to is navigating playgrounds/toys with a toddler. My instinct is to make myself as small and polite as possible but I don't want that for my future toddler

If I happened to run 13km on Christmas day for the last 2 years, did that mean I have to do it again?

This is how far I've swam so far this year, and I can't believe that last year I didn't have it in my to hit 200km

I think next year might be a little harder though

I'm gonna say it - white eggs are superior to brown eggs on every measurable metric. The way my eyes light up when you check the carton and it's gonna be a 5 star egg week

It's actually pretty shocking how, until recently, no one with a platform made the point of how ridiculous it is to think that v wealthy ppl would completely upend their lives just cause they'd be made to pay 2% of their vast wealth, which they can't use anyway (as they have more than they can spend)

I am struggling to figure out a fitness regime post baby - I used to go to the gym for 6 Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri and right now I'm just so tired! Even if the baby has woken up for a change just before I would wake up anyway, I just want to sleep 😴 but it's not like it was ever easy getting up for the gym
