Realistically, it is the American people that can make change. They need to get out to the streets in MUCH bigger numbers than they have to date. Think South Korea.

It’s so weird to me how people can see a democratic statement pleading with republicans to handle Trump and think it’s a strong statement

One of the reasons I'm running for Congress after 62 years of never contemplating seeking public office is that I don't think the country can survive three more years unless Trump is removed from office.

Now I don't know if it can survive three months.

New poll showing most Americans think the U.S. is out of control under Trump. There’s a link to the actual data if you want to see the details. There’s a lot to read in here!
71 percent of Americans say US is "out of control" under Trump
The picture from the polling data was not positive for the president even among voter groups favorable to him.

A House committee issued journalist Seth Harp a subpoena for his reporting.

He’s been falsely accused of “leaking classified intel.” And now, a GOP lawmaker wants him prosecuted under the Espionage Act.

This is a chilling attack on press freedom. Watch @trevortimm.bsky.social explain.

In authoritarian regimes, the government uses its powers to threaten, harass, and silence its opponents.

Good "Christian", Mike Johnson, opines that it is "irrational" to be concerned with the murder of an unarmed American citizen in cold blood, or the brutalizing of entire cities by masked Gestapo.

His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him

I don’t expect this to come up at oral argument today, but the Lisa Cook case is emblematic of the many Black women leaders who have been slandered, investigated, or dismissed without cause—and who have not been given an opportunity to clear up their names in a public forum.

Until today.

it's bizarre to see both CNN and CNBC run with chyrons reporting that Trump said he won't "use force" to take Greenland, when the comments in question were clearly a threat to take Greenland by force. How naive are we at this point?
