I don’t think anything has actually changed except the economic conditions mean those things are no longer drivers of business growth.

I think people thought the DEI initiatives, the remote work, the work-life balance culture, the non-salary perks, and the employee special interest groups were a sign of _something_. In reality they were capitalist side-effects of cheap capital and hard-to-find talent.

I did not know that and eels are fairly often in the news in Ireland: irelandswildlife.com/european-eel...

I guess the more amazing thing is not that the adults cross the Atlantic but that the babies come back. And are—I assume—transparent to make that journey survivable against predators

yeah, I wonder if this would have been easier to start with a design system / /theme and then build out the app but I was impatient. Not 100% convinced the Chrome MCP was great: I think it mostly took screenshots for reference and extracted key styling—but it could have done more imho

The "Recents" tab is useful and you can pin your most-used pages there but, yeah, I always find it confusing especially the split between the account-level menu (Zero trust, Workers etc) and the domain-level items (DNS, Security etc)

Every time you see a company pushing a humanoid robot product know that:
1. That company/product is doomed
2. That job can be done better by a non-humanoid robot

Humanoid robots are pure ego—as if the only useful things in this world must be modelled on ourselves
