Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

“The reason it is happening is a profound surge of renewable energy generation in the country. In October, for the first time ever, clean energy trumped fossil fuels in supplying electricity to homes and businesses on the eastern seaboard”

The wind blows, yet turbines lie still. It's a symptom of Australia's renewables glut
Mountains of clean power are regularly "wasted" as Australia's energy system evolves. But a large amount of battery storage is waiting in the wings, ready to soak it up.

The BBC will fuck things up from time to time. Lots of major news organisations do; just look at The Times having to memoryhole several fake news stories in a matter of weeks.

No one is calling for the abolition of The Times, however.

Nope.
Inspired by Major League Baseball, any ball that is hit into the stands in the first over of an innings in this year's WBBL and BBL can be kept by a fan in the crowd 🤲

To maintain competitive consistency, a new ball will be introduced after the first over and used for the remainder of the innings

An amazing article in the Daily Telegraph where "Honest Bob" Jenrick commends the Polish government for its growth and deregulatory policies compared to stagnant Britain. Surprisingly, the fact that Poland is inside the EU and Britain Brexited is not part of the explanation ....

What. The. Fuck.
Evidently there was an Auschwitz-themed float in a Halloween parade in Pennsylvania.

The float was for a Catholic school, and to their credit the church immediately disavowed it.

Thing is, I don’t think high school kids did this entirely on their own. I’m guessing parents had to be involved.

Honestly, just turn the internet off.
Just had lunch with a great friend and colleague who told me solemnly that the Labour Party is now controlled by the Fabians and that Fabians are radical communists. This is my first real world sighting of this amazing idea.
