Whenever I watch musicals (just saw Wicked: For Good), when they start singing I get Anya in my head saying "would you say it was a breakaway pop hit or more of a book number?"

Interesting different sort of piracy site blocking order from the usual: they sought an urgent block to stop people accessing sites with Wicked: For Good while it's in cinemas. jade.io/article/1166...

The Australian's art critic panned the Turnbull portrait but I'm afraid if my unconscious gesticulation habit was permanently placed on the walls of parliament it would be devastating.

I think it's quite good, really.

There's a full appeal hearing in a case a user who posted on X about an LGBTQ club at a school and eSafety deemed it not to the level of bullying to take down, but then X interpreted their informal email as a notice and temporarily blocked it in AU before reversing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lnjz...

Waited to get the court docs before reporting on the high court challenge to the social media ban.

They reveal an injunction will be sought against esafety, the minister and the govt to stop enforcement. And one of the teens is turning 16 before the ban.

Political class kinda needs to stop freaking out every time there's a localised mobile network outage. This one was fixed in a couple of hours and Optus alleges it was a fibre cut as a result of someone trying to steal copper. Not much that they can do about that.

Interesting, eSafety got the classification board to classify the Charlie Kirk assassination video as refused classification (previously they usually self-assess before sending take down requests). I guess wanting to put themselves on stronger footing.
