they wrote a compelling story and great characters and then wrote a couple hundred novels worth after that for all of the individual choices and branching questlines and what not. and it's pretty much all good!

strongly recommend against pulling characters to cover element types unless they're main dps, and for cas she's pretty needy so that might not be a good idea this close to version 4 and the new meta. she just wants a lot

It's crazy to me that Baldur's Gate 3 can pop off the way it did only for us to continue to question if being an RPG ass RPG is enough. That game wasn't an evolution for the genre, it was just ridiculously well crafted and presented.

Let me beat the entire game without going through a single forced action sequence, simply by convincing people to kill each other or whatever.

The people love this, it's just that these games often don't have the presentation and/or polish to grab the masses.

ohhhh that's right! I feel like its only a matter of time until it comes to a console. the switch has its name all over it.

Don’t feel bad about playing on easy and grinding characters up. Game balance can be a little silly and the AI doesn’t play around.

But more importantly ENJOY!

I know some people are super goal oriented, and all of our brains are wired different, but if the pursuit of trophies and completionism is making the game worse and your mood/mental state worse, then is it worth it?
