This thing with Karl-Anthony Towns' shooting on the road is getting super weird. He's not even close with some of these shots.

Landry Shamet almost certainly looked like he just dislocated his shoulder again, unless I'm blind. Brutal for the Knicks.

Committee is 100% gonna use the second half of this VT game (which has been ~fine but not great) against Miami.

By the CFP's own logic they need to be behind all the other two-loss teams.
Alabama's CFP resume now includes a loss to a team with a losing record.

I never thought I'd like a Miami player as much as Cam Ward ever again but Malachi Toney is already getting awfully close. He's incredible. I can't believe he was still 17 like six weeks ago.

🎥 FILM FINDINGS 🎥

Jalen Duren is leveling up. From self-creation to rim protection, the Pistons center has taken his game to new heights this season, looking like an All-Star in the early goings.

The Rockets are up to a 39% offensive rebound rate tonight... and that will somehow make their season average go DOWN.

Reed Sheppard is BALLING.

What a pass by Shane Goon.
November 22, 2025 at 3:20 AM
The Nuggets are getting into the Rockets' bodies and making them dribble in crowded spaces more than anybody I've seen since OKC in the opener. They are all up in these dudes' business.

What is with Amazon and constantly turning the audio volume sliders up and down during games?

Drake Powell: Pretty fun!

The Nets are certainly a collection of players.

Knowing where to be and what to do when you're there is the most underrated basketball skill. (And yes, it is a skill.)
So much of basketball is knowing who you are gonna play with and knowing that those players will be where they are supposed to be. Consistency and reliability.

Under talented teams will overachieve if they can just know what they are doing and who they are doing it with 🔂

James Harden is gonna (and gonna have to, seemingly) try to beat the Magic all by himself tonight.

This is a perfect representation of both LaMelo and the Hornets, somehow.
LaMelo Ball is open to a trade after growing increasingly frustrated with the Hornets, per @kellyiko.bsky.social.

In a world that made any sense at all the presidency would be over by the end of business today. Alas.
You'd think the President calling for the execution of political opponents would warrant some type of news alert.

Clarifying here:

The red line is combined miles per game for both teams, not miles per player per game. The green line is average miles per hour for both teams.
Notes on the NBA injury crisis. Players are logging more miles and moving at a faster speed than ever before.

A few ideas:
Shorten the season (never happening)
Use deeper rotations
Shorter stints with multiple rests
More zone defense
