Picked my first brown belt level lock. Magnum Monte Blanc wafer lock. Very happy that this one doesn't have to be gutted. Makes it easier to move forward.

Medeco M3 picked in hand. Rotating key pins, mushroom driver pins, false set key pins, and a slider button to set the side bar. Probably at about 5 minutes to properly set everything and pick. Need to get that down to about 2 minutes for my next patch challenge.

Finally picked a disk detainer lock. Blue Belt level. Messed with this thing for at least a couple hours per week for the past 2 months. It finally opened for me.

Chisel shaped pins that have to rotate so another part the width of a blade can go about 20% into the pin before it is lifted to the sheer line. Purple belt lock. Should have a video of full pick and disassembly soon, probably going to make a joke about being robocops urologist.

Traded out the driver pins for spools. Took it from a blue rating to a purple rating. Picking it was fun. Glad I bought 3 more that are similar. I need to spend some time messing with a different type of lock for a new challenge.

I can't hear his name without thinking of a software rep pulling out her phone, and it had a Dan Crenshaw pop socket on it. She had it because she loved the guy, but I couldn't believe that product made it into production.

Picked another high security dimple lock. Going to change some parts out to make it even more secure and pick it again. Still at blue belt, converting it to purple belt.

Picked my first blue belt dimple lock. Imagine the pins your key hits when unlocking the door. Now make them hit the side of the key and put another pin inside of the pin. So, basically, I'm picking 10 pins in an opening that's about 2-3 millimeters high. Soon, I will complete another challenge.
