I propose reclassifying all roguelites as tetris-likes. Please consult the following chart:
ROGUE:
- Mythical creatures
- Randomized game
- Long runs
TETRIS:
- No mythical creatures
- Randomized game
- Short runs
As you can see, most "roguelites" have more in common with tetris than rogue!
