Although I've had an amazing year mothing, there have been a few #moths that I wish I could have seen again. This Black Arches, for example. I took this shot in 2024. It will probably feel like a brand-new moth if I ever see one again. #teammoth

Visited my favourite Packhorse Bridge (HER entry number 1021023) near Cray this weekend. It really is something quite special. It's hidden away on an old packhorse route adjacent to the River Wharfe and her cascading waterfalls, crossing Crook Gill as it feeds the Wharfe via its very own waterfall.

How will sexual violence stop if the police won't take it seriously?

When Nina Cresswell named the man who sexually assaulted her he sued for defamation - and he lost. But why did she have to take that risk? We're helping her sue the police who failed to investigate him. goodlaw.social/vtev

These measures would save us around £25bn a year. Not just money in all our pockets but a turbo boost to our economy - pushing down interest and lending rates, adding massively to our GDP and lifting millions out of poverty. We exposed the impact our runaway energy bills have on our economy.

Control the profits of the privately owned Network companies - that own the pipes and wires that deliver our energy, they make 40% profit margins - it’s obscene and unjustifiable. We need to control their profits like we do the Retail energy companies, who are allowed 2%.

We can end the great energy rip off with three reforms:

Break the link - stop global price of gas to setting the price we pay for our own wind
and sun.

BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺
