I’ve also realised that maybe I’ve made a very big and expensive mistake moving to where I live as it’s physically detached me from a lot of things :/
Hit a realisation that my friends have their own groups of friends and things they get invited to (which is great) but I just feel like such an outsider at the moment and just generally left out. Like I don’t seem to get included or invited to things anymore and when I do I feel like a tag along

Last year I was an expired railcard for Halloween, this year I’m just going as myself - expired.

Decided to at least test the heating this morning, discovered the valve to my bedroom radiator wasn’t even open so glad I checked it all working before the cold weather hits!

I’m pleasantly surprised how my flat seems to maintain a constant 22°C without even putting the heating on yet. Being well insulated and in the middle of the block definitely helps
