Just after saying he'll veto any budget that makes cuts to the cops, who have repeatedly overspent the budget and cost the city over 1.5 billion in abuse lawsuits since 2000 (and twice the library budget this year alone).

By the time I walked 20 minutes back to the bus, got all the way home, showered and got in bed…..they were still stuck in traffic, having only moved a couple hundred feet.

I don’t really have a strong opinion on the head tax, but I do think it’s important to be clear that a corporate head tax is not at all the same thing as a tax on billionaires.
Pritzker is a billionaire. Of course he would be against a tax on billionaires.

There’s truly so much to unpack from what went down with PTS last month and there has not been any time to go over it with folks, but I promise you this energy is actually warranted and the Mayor and some progs deserve the heat too lol
