Or, as I keep pointing out, no really Great, Definitive werewolf novel either like there is for vamps. Feel like they're maybe the likeliest to get into a urban fantasy kitchen sink type thing.

True. And I guess in the modern conception of zombie the contagion element is equally important to the mindlessness and eating brains.
Werewolves don't usually do mass contagion either, but they do individual contagion a lot.
A lot of these monsters are sort of converging on certain beats

iZombie of course being *more or less* a vampire show, with the contagion element it keeps from zombie movies being the big outlier
Really should watch the last two seasons of that, I loved the first two; the Major season 1 arc is such good tv

If you call him a liar to his face he will get pissed! It's the opposite of being honest about it!

And collectively they own many billions of dollars

This is how the Nordic parties were spoken about (Fremskritt in particular had that kind of taxpayer revolt crank background I think, maybe the Finnish one as well)

YouTube in contrast being of a similar age but I guess having the advantage of being basically the biggest broadcaster in history

There's for sure going to *a* Winter I think; Dream of Spring is where it gets dicey

I'm gonna be a worm

That's right. Make your dad pretend to be gay. And also your brother. And maybe you yourself if a Star Trek captain is in the mix.

Oh wait, Arctic not Antarctic

This is the survival mechanism in one of the extinctions (the first or second) in Olof Stapledon's excellent Last and First Men from 1930
Spoilers (not really; it's a LONG book):

As people were saying at the time, he should've done a sitcom right out of Dr Who instead of I gather pretty dreary Gothic and crime thriller stuff

Whatabout human cultures that have duodecimal systems

disagree, I'm reiterating the Mirror Universe pod, but Trek has to find a way to a) be OUR future, which is very important for its utopianism, and b) be relatively coherent

My solution being of course, declaring that we're going to do the 1990s: 1992b here we come.

Ambiguity can be a wonderful tool to reflect the ultimate unknowability of anything. It can also be a lazy way out of committing to a decision

See nobody had ever put it on TV though.
For good reasons it turned out

Actually you know what even if they had to give him a company it should have been a struggling PAPER company; the hell has he ever had to do with sports endorsements or whatever

God I hate that company. Way to precious stuff; I dislike it for Parks & Rec a lot but maybe it makes more sense for small-town gov types

All of it is rewarding the characters in gaudy excess
