This is interestingly close to the last lines of the Narnia books, which are also among the best in Lewis' work at least in terms of the ideas presented.

I recently learned that the 5-person Nobel Peace Prize Committee is pretty representative of Stortinget's political make-up: currently there are 3 right-wing (1 centre), 1 from the labour party and one NGO guy
