I make cool projects and create content about (mostly) technical topics. I also rant way too much about making it remotely possible to get around without a car.

To facilitate the Scream Cipher's adoption in our daily lives, I've created a tool that lets you encrypt and decrypt messages using it. Enjoy!
I'm sick and tired of news sites overriding my back button. It's not yours to override, fuck off. Looking at you in particular @pcgamer.com

if you notice quasisymmetric behavior in your mirror, your first priority is to remain calm. do not acknowledge the aberration in the presence of the mirror. do not allow your eyes to linger on the aberration. navigate to a mirror-free room before calling the hotline.

Yikes 😬 an official U.S. government account just referred to Americans as “imbecilic morons.” That’s… a choice.

kinda a wild coincidence that the guy that first discovered the fourier transform was also literally named "fourier". pretty compelling case for the power of nominative determinism

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Watching The Office on Emby, on my Fire TV stick plugged into our Roku TV (not my preference, but we got it for free). I just got a pop-up from our TV (NOT the Fire TV stick) prompting me to watch on a "different provider".

Why are you doing this, Roku? I will burn your heart in a fire.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.

My son Seamus died 15 years ago today. He was killed by a careless driver in a crosswalk.

He walked at 9 months, almost as if he knew he wouldn’t have much time. His favorite thing to do was throw rocks into water. He loved the moon. He called butterflies “buddy buddies.” I miss him every day.

Endless debates about where the line should be drawn between e-bikes/e-motorcycles? Prob a legitimate debate but the bigger question is why is that the only line we are debating? Why is there no debate about max horsepower for cars? Max tire size for trucks?

Pro tip, if you need to reheat your coffee but was going to walk away from the microwave after starting it, just put it in the microwave with the door open. Don't reheat it until you get back. Haven't forgot a cup of coffee in months
My coffee scalding, it’s much too hot, it’s still too hot.

Oh its cold now, let me place it the microwave and forget its existence.
