Today I retire from Wizards of the Coast after 28 years. With D&D’s 50th anniversary wrapping up and the revised rulebooks doing gangbusters, this is the perfect fairytale ending for me. I can’t wait to enjoy D&D purely as a fan again, knowing the game is in good hands. See you in the Feywild!

We are no longer the customer. Their customers are investors. The owners of Tesla don't care if people like or buy the cybertruck. They only care if it excited investors when it was announced years ago. Because that's what makes the stock price shoot up. And that creates the return they want.

The reason companies want to put AI in everything even though we actively hate it, is the same reason they were all in on Bitcoin, and crypto, and NFTs, and quantum computing.
It's because these companies can no longer make the line go up selling us products. They've maxed out on that.
