it's absolutely not bad where the train is elevated from the highway!

appealing to the status quo is always going to get someone the answer they want, so

"the trains are SO DAMN LOUD"

not from residences, not even from driving under them

"There has to be some room for grace/redemption."

Between him and his higher power.

Not in power over others, fuck that.

Thanks for the field report, we have them contained!

semantics are exactly how a guy like him weaponizes his upperclass finanical security against the underclass, in hopes of further material gain
November 19, 2025 at 10:21 PM
yeah, beyond the unkillable "guy with everything invested in his own stupid opinions" (and cryptocurrency drawing in younger sorts of those bros) I wonder if the ubiquity of Linux in Android and containerized form (alongside the move away from infra-specialization) has lessened the "Linux Guy"

"On the one hand I can't help but respect the dedication to being extremely annoying without directly insulting anyone"

He wants his critics dead, he's not even "polite" according to the same expectations he has for others.

So basically Bruce Harrell's "people *I* talk to communities think it is ugly thus Seattle Transit can not have elevated rail"

~Cue another series of avoidable deaths from people chasing street-level trains~
November 19, 2025 at 9:28 PM
This. There is no guardrail, their entire product is tuned to craft unconsensual abuse material and "yearbook" or not, minor children would make up a part of their income.
November 19, 2025 at 8:52 PM
People had University yearbooks but the practice dropped off a few decades ago. "AI" companies routinely take money to generate CSAM.

so did her parents or a sugar daddy provide the seed funds to purchase this "learn to sing production package" deal (nobody answer this)

guys who don't have a lot of insight like to take a nasty, Authoritiative tone

that often works in politics! he had the monetary security, but not the fraternal networks to succeed in that area.

reduced instead to puffing chest out and hooking right-curious progressive followers with boasts
November 19, 2025 at 7:58 PM
the meat of it, there is no real connection between whatever his heel "listen here, i'm going to tell you what life is like" persona and the reality other people need to exist in.

He never drops the act, never "retreats", and the act is as insincere as it is incurious
November 19, 2025 at 7:20 PM
his main thing these days is pushing "abundance" capitalism and table pounding about how this is the best things have always been economically, family money and attempting to become some sort of Twitter punditfluencer have absolutely cooked his brain
November 19, 2025 at 6:59 PM
giving tech companies unfettered control over world water rights, power grids, and absolve them of any pollution sounds like a GREAT idea with NO DOWNSIDES whatsoever
November 19, 2025 at 6:06 PM
"Signal you are not a victim. Do the basics no one applauds but they do."

While this is likely organizational advice, are there less terrible "pen test your home network" sorts of guides that go over the most common not-state-actor scenarios?

I tell the story often but in the beginnings of my career in IT I was fascinated by stories of 0days by state actors. And I worried about them.

As our entire client base was XP SP2 with zero governance and many machines shared huge groups of local admins.

Perspective later is hell of a thing.
