That’s all comps…but at least we got a Go-Kart-Track

In 12 full seasons (2005-2017) before Wembley we averaged 4.25 defeats per season at home (WHL)

In 2 seasons (2017/2019) at Wembley we averaged 4.5 defeats per season at home (Wembley)

In 6 full seasons at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (2019-2025) we averaged 6.83 defeats per season at home (THS)

Wanted to work out the ‘Fortress Effect’ of the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Some interesting findings….

I’ve not watched a UCL Draw for a while. What is this shizzle? 😳 Football has eaten itself (again).

@adampowley.bsky.social nails It thread. Like BBC trying to pander to those that will always hate that institution, this doesn't end well for Labour. On current course they get battered in the next GE and they don't even have the excuse that it was someone else's fault...as this is all on them.
One of the worst things about Starmer and Labour’s craven and doomed wooing of Reform and pandering to racism is the dishonesty and treating individual voters, of whatever persuasion, as amorphous blocs that can be deceived and manipulated.

To be fair, he did warn us all that we were never going to survive unless we get a little crazy.

Stop the league campaign already. Massive ‘Roberto Di Matteo’ vibes with the players just getting up for the UEL games and basically sorting it on field by themselves. League wise no pride/don’t care. Drop off to our reserves is massive. We can’t concede so many & expect to advance. A bad joke #THFC

This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic

So true.
If I have a take on Tottenham and what kind of coach they need, I think it's secondary to the reality that the ownership style will always expose whatever flaws exist in a candidate.

There are good ideas and nice theories, but whomever is in the job will only have part of what they need to do it.

BBC triggering me for no reason (Leicester City suffer their 13th defeat in 14 Premier League matches…) made me realise that nearly 24% of Leicester City’s points this season have come from Spurs. A true ‘Living the Dream’ season #COYS #SpursStat

Been hit bad…very bad. Still regrouping it would seem while the nerves have gone for most #COYS
For all our bad form it’s not like other teams aren’t struggling as well. It’s a funny old game at the moment. We need to hold our nerve, re-group in the new year and see how bad we’ve been hit #COYS

It’s says a lot that my favourite moment so far in this game is the pitch side mic picking up a Tamworth fan shouting “Solanke…Why are you so lanky?!!!” #COYS

Loving @jackpittbrooke.bsky.social's work but also brings a familiar sense of Levy trigger finger. With most of media asking 'Ange Adapt' questions whilst ignoring injury list & 3y project plan. Is Ryan Mason for 6 months part of the plan? Is 1xLeague Cup in 23 years also on Ange? #WhoYaGonnaGetIn?

Knew it #COYS
Think we all needed a font to be more adaptable in a digital world. Having the monogram & hallmarks working side by side reminds me of the Toby/Jan days. As for the new colours (Hot Terracotta & Elm Green) they are very supportive. Not saying we will, but I reckon we get something at the Etihad now.

Ange lays down a funky groove but others don't get it. That's the trouble with jazz. Tottenham still on my mind after a short intermission tottenhamonmymind.com/2024/11/17/a...
Ange and the Age of Jazz
Time away from Tottenham On My Mind, and more to the point from the ground. An opportunity for reflection. Take a step back. Big picture, overview, that sort of thing. Nah. I’m unsettled, disengage…

Uncle was an Oxford Utd season ticket holder. Knew I liked football so took me to the Manor Ground on 22/11/1986. Fell in love with the team in all white as we won 4-2. Probably our best overall season (86/87) in the following 38 seasons I’ve supported/been going. I peaked in my first season #Spursy
There I was happily supporting my local [REDACTED] division team as a kid because we lived very close to the stadium. My cousins objected to this and started taking me to Spurs games. Didn't look back.
So when did you start supporting Spurs?

I’m a lifer since the late 80s/early 90s, inherited from my dad and older brother. First Spurs memory is our family’s excitement around the 91 Cup FA Cup final.

“What do you mean Gary Lineker is leaving? We’ve done the new Official Store Catalogue shoot with him in!!!! What should we do?”

“Just put Steve Sedgley’s head on Gary’s”

“Won’t that mean there is now two Steve Sedgley’s? Won’t that be a bit weird?”

“Nah. No one will notice” #COYS #THFC

Well this is all very nice. Like social media time travel. Half expecting to find that, over here we didn’t actually lose to Ipswich as it was some kind of weird fever dream or time loop I’ve escaped.
