Born from an egg on a mountaintop.
Guess which persecuted individual can’t go for walks because he cut his foot on a flint and now has to wear this stupid get-up so he cant even chew on the stitches they put in his paw.

80s video games: didn’t have hugely powerful graphics capabilities but used the limitations to create fine art.
Also 80s video games:

Must admit this is limiting my productivity somewhat.

Last year they added a new camera button next to the button you double click to open the wallet. Which is why I have a new category of photos on my phone: “nondescript pictures of checkouts”.

This site lets you see what metro lines would look like if they were built somewhere else. If Norwich had the Tube, the Metropolitan line would terminate almost exactly in my village. That'd be handy. wbholland.github.io/trainspose/

Remember NHS colleagues; your FTSU guardian is not to be confused with your STFU guardian.

Depressing clothes shopping on my day off. According to Next, you can dress colourfully as a man. As long as you like red. And like Christmas jumpers.

Last full day in Turkey. It’s not very Halloweeny. Yesterday we were on top of that tiny square block on that distant peak.

I like the way Turkish stop signs also answer the question “should I stop here then?”

It’s Republic Day in Turkey. Large Turkish flags are everywhere. You can even spot one in this obligatory holiday shot of my legs by a pool.

@vcorenmitchell.bsky.social this must have been pointed out to you a dozen times today, but in case I’m the first. Here’s the first two lines of today’s NYC connections puzzle.

Arrived in Turkey last night, which was two hours ahead, but doesn’t do a clock change, so now is three hours ahead. So effectively I had two hours less in bed, and you had one more. But anyway this is mostly to say this is my current view and I had Turkish delight for breakfast and you didn’t.
