We live in a ridiculous town where you need a permit to feed the homeless. We also live in a ridiculous town where people would rather see people starve in order to be bylaw compliant. disrupt! stand on the front lawn and demand a day space! no physical space? patio heaters will suffice!

Some kinda solstice mood thing showing me this cause I had a guy scold me in my own home this morning after I asked him 3 x yesterday what he needs me to do before he comes in to look at a thing...
The giveaway should have been that he wanted to come super early before my husband leaves for skiing.

ONE POINT TWO percent vacancy is very bad for people who like shelter. It’s disastrous for poor people. Kamloops and BC and Canada are failing on housing. F A I L.
1.2: Per cent is Kamloops’ vacancy rate. It’s the lowest in B.C. and the only municipal vacancy rate that fell in 2025. infonews.ca/inhome/news/...

The reason I like to listen to council meetings is because it gives me more context otherwise I second guess myself if in fact excessive eye rolls are warranted. Hall and O'Reilly seem out of touch with the housing scene. www.castanetkamloops.net/news/Kamloop... #Kamloops
