Whenever one of my friends gets a good gig in media I get so happy, because it feels increasingly rare to see good people get hired as opposed to truly ridiculously unqualified people who have a lot of money and/or some kind of ethically unsound relationship to those in power

I finished reading it yesterday. It was wonderful. I read a lot of sf-- this novel is original, cool, and interesting. And not at all like your first, which I also loved.

Question for my writer and reader pals! What is the earliest book you're aware of that published therapy transcripts in it? Michelle Remembers is obviously a famous one, and there's one I've got in mind from 1965, but are there any earlier ones? (Not thinking of case study texts like Freud et. al)

John Fetterman’s memoir comes out on Tuesday, so if the phone calls don’t work you can always tell him how you feel while he’s on book tour.
