An administration with even an ounce of decency would have sent representatives to this Soldier's funeral. A responsible one would have involved itself directly. This is a unique level of cowardice and deliberate indifference. Wrong in every way for a Commander-in-chief to respond.

So I get the point that this could just be a preemptive federal pardon for federal crimes no one has charged her with (and I assume will be outside the statute of limitations by the time Trump leaves).

But then why did the Feds just try to get her transferred to a Fed prison for her state crime?
