which in turn curls this script gist.github.com/FiloSottile/... into bash.
They even detect piping, so to read it you have to run "curl | cat".

i think if edits worked like Twitter internals it would be cool (i.e. you create a new record for your edited post, you add a little field to the existing record that says 'please see elsewhere for the new version of this') since people can still verify the old CID by just dropping that one field
