god i'm still so indecisive but. maybe in the future i should push myself harder as a freelance composer. maybe after uni i'll go the route of having a day job then doing music on the side and hoping eventually i can go full time

sometimes i make music thats intended to create a certain vibe without necessarily being technologically impressive or up to "modern standards". i fret i'd be seen as lazy lol

my feelings on being a professional vgm composer fluctuate from "mehhhh not worth it" to "i wanna be one of the legends". it's quite competitive and i feel getting established as being a step above Some Guy is tough

in the grand scheme of things, its impressive how fuckin much seemingly ephemeral content wayback machine has saved from being completely lost
a lot of "ephemeral" content in the pre-web world could completely fade away, now the internet makes that a bit less likely

"i'm busy" feels so ambiguous. it either means someone is genuinely swamped to their limit and has very little time to even relax, or the person does have some free time but has limited energy during it, or they're just not interested enough to make time for it
