Yep, I imagine that's why they're getting dropped off: to see how they perform in the winter. It sounds like they can't operate without a human driver right now in Minnesota, so maybe they're just mapping?

I 100% agree that we shouldn't be a test track. They've been in winter climates before, though (waymo.com/blog/2025/10...).
