Every year around this time something happens to just fuck things up for me. Getting really tired of this routine every time I have something to look forward to, it just casts a pall over everything. But what is there to do but suffer in silence until it's done, really. Nobody likes a downer, sadly

I do love being told I can't do one single fucking thing right, then they deny they said it when I say to never talk to me like that, then they let out a snarky mean girl "oooooh!" when I reiterate what they said. Insufferable in a teenager, unforgivable in a 60+ year old.
