Here's an idea, how about not intentionally causing pain to any living being in your care?
Would you be fine with a pediatrician twisting and tying kid's lips because "It causes just enough pain to distract them from the shot 🤪"
Barbaric, do better.

It's a very unfortunate issue here in the US too. Feeding most pets isn't even a big deal, but vet costs have skyrocketed. Worse than not getting a pet at all are the people giving them away as soon as they need a vet.

I find that a lot of people here in the states are ditching their pets because they got knocked up and don't want to care for both. Sometimes they'll have practically just gotten a pet before deciding they don't want them. I hope most people are less dumb elsewhere.

Because it was a movie. It's rare that I meet anyone with enough decency to care about animals as much as humans in real life situations.

Animals shouldn't be treated that way, either.

None. They should test on human supremacists like you.

Humans should have been used in the first place until alternatives were developed. Which we have plenty of now.

A win is a win.

Those people either conveniently ignored the facts, or possibly worked in an area where they didn't have to see what really goes on. I imagine if someone's only job is to feed animals and clean cages, they can be more easily manipulated.
Ignorance is bliss.

The "animal welfare standards" in the research industry have always been buzzwords - they sound 'kind' and evoke thoughts of scientists lovingly petting animals, feeding them and playing fun games with them. This is simply not the reality in 99% of cases.

The Truth About Animal Testing | PETA
Right now, millions of animals are locked inside cages in laboratories across the country. They languish in pain, suffer from frustration, ache with loneliness, and long to be free.

My point is, most who remain in the industry were either human supremacists in the first place(any supremacy is dangerous as both historical and current events have shown us), or have been brainwashed to ignore that voice that reminds them it's wrong. I believe they made a choice either way.
January 17, 2026 at 8:35 PM
The result is researchers are left with few options. Those who retain their humanity often quit, while others believe they can make a positive impact by treating the animals 'better' than most would, in some cases sparing them. This is a mixed bag, I'm neither defending nor condemning the choice.

Much like the Nazi movement, the science industry discourages the feelings that make us human - such as empathy and recognition of cruelty - in favor of reaching an end goal. It uses brainwashing techniques to convince researchers that the only way to succeed is to favor data over anything else.
January 17, 2026 at 8:28 PM
I've suspected for a long while that the same kinds of people who defend animal testing would have fit very well in the Nazi regime. Successful recruits tended to be sociopathic - willing to do anything, and I mean anything, if they could be convinced the ends justified the means.

Whenever we "needed" living test subjects, we should have picked up fur farm workers.

Anyone that doesn't care because "they're just mice" can rot in a ditch, quite frankly.
ALL animal species used in research are horrifically abused. Not in every single test, but in general.

Until it advances to ethical methods: good.

Animals aren't "replaceable", supremacist cretin. They're living beings.
January 16, 2026 at 8:11 PM
Would you rather: be tortured every day until you're euthanized anyway, or simply euthanized without the torture? The life of a lab animal is not about being held gently and playing games, regardless of what pro-vivisection propaganda tells you.

It's crazy that I need to explain this to anyone.

I don’t care what the benefit, animal testing is immoral. It should be stopped.

Good! I look forward to seeing what it is.

It was never necessary nor excusable.
