We must remake the world such that the International Criminal Court has much more muscle – including jurisdiction over American and Russian politicians.

A boy can dream.

My #Arkansas friends, can you imagine the enormity of the pushback against what is proposed in this article? Walmart, Tyson, Simmons, Murphy, Stephens… would label anyone supporting this as a communist threat - not a defender of democracy.
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

As someone who lost good friends actually fighting drug trafficking, this monster’s bloviating mental diarrhea offends me deeply. He is the real poison in America’s veins.
The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.
Just to level set

In college, I worked for the Hastings (books, music, video) stores. Every Christmas the tone deaf Texas Republicans who owned the chain would send photo cards from their yacht or ski trips. This did not engender loyalty in my minimum wage ass.
Here’s a hot take: I don’t want to see lawmakers posting holiday pictures from their mansions — I don’t care which party.

Keep that shit to yourself.

Dimon and all the “too big to fail” architects should have been prosecuted and their personal assets liquidated. Instead they were given billions more of your tax dollars.
Dimon on why JPMorgan Chase is not funding WH Ballroom:
We have an issue, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with governments here and around the world, we have to be very careful how anything is perceived, and also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.

I’m waiting for the day when a White House reporter claps back hard at one of Trump’s non-answer insults. If you just stand there silently after being called fake, fat, stupid… you have failed at your job - as has every other silent reporter.

At simultaneous green junctions, all cars get a red while all cyclists get green in every direction at once. Straight, left, right, even diagonals. By separating bikes and motor traffic into different phases, this design cuts collision risk while also improving capacity and reducing waiting times.

This is a monumentally stupid approach to a traffic stop. You do not have an unalienable right to drive on a public road. You are required to present your license when asked. Being a jerk gets you treated that way. Be civil, comply and you’ll probably get a warning. Do this you’ll likely see jail.
A woman recently went viral for holding up a window sign during a traffic stop, part of a growing trend of drivers using cards to assert their rights instead of speaking to police.

DHS could be tasking agents and recruiting task force officers to expand their Internet Crimes Against Children operations, but instead they waging a fake war against a largely non-offending immigrant population.
What the fuck is wrong with people??! 😡

Only a person with no attachment to social norms speaks like this. When I say he’s a psychopath, I’m not being facetious or catty. I’m trying to convey that he has a personality disorder that disqualifies him from office.
Every accusation is a confession.

You’ve hit upon the common denominator among these wretched people. They are the dark triad as a form of governance.
These people are all sociopaths. It’s strange, but none of them have any empathy and they’re all compulsive liars.
Vice President JD Vance went on a bizarre rant about turkey, just moments after addressing the tragic shooting that took place in Washington DC this afternoon.

Can you imagine the amount of wagon circling and damage control going on in the White House? All of Trump’s sycophantic hangers on, nepo-appointees, and lesser toadies trying to guard their nest as grandaddy teeters around babbling.
Gupta: It’s clear that there’s age-related cognitive decline.

He’s confused a lot. He sometimes mumbles sort of incoherent nonsense when he’s asked a question in the Oval Office.

Clearly they’re not getting MRIs just because, because that’s the moment that we live in. There’s a reason

Save for Chomsky, Dawkins, Fukuyama, Habermas, Žižek, Amartya Sen and a handful of others, that age is largely gone.

Most of that fault lies with the academic disdain for grand theory and holistic thinking. The academy wants compartmented hyper-specialists bc they can be monetized.
I wish America still had such a thing as public intellectuals

Let’s be clear. If Trump weren’t propped up by daddy’s money, he wouldn’t be allowed to live independently. He wouldn’t have control over his own finances or life decisions. This is what unchecked privilege and wealth does to society. The Idiot Who Would Be King.
Meiselas: If Trump was just some crappy, scummy billionaire who lived in Florida, do you think I'd give a crap? My issue is this freaking loser, this con artist, this grifter, this scammer has brought his life of scamming, bankrupting and destroying to the American people, who are now suffering.
November 25, 2025 at 5:36 AM
This is typical corporate greed but it misses the broader point that it’s a business model predicated on suffering and death. I’ll bet the vast majority of you have never been in a poultry plant or a commercial chicken house. I have. If you had to see, hear, and smell it, you’d think twice.
Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.
