Is it really "mindblowing" that people are skeptical of software that consistently doesn't do the things we're told it can do?

‘The way Brexit was mishandled’ is designed to con you into thinking there is a Labour piloted Brexit that won’t carry those costs.

Fewer workers. Fewer international students. More people leaving.

A "step in the right direction" according to the PM.

Impossible to take PM/govt seriously on growth if they are deliberately reducing it (and making the fiscal position worse) *as a matter of policy*.

Nick Pope aside that was a good performance. Shame about the result. Pope’s idiocy changed the game.

Malick Thiaw that’s an incredible tackle.

Nothing about Labour's anti-immigration/asylum proposals makes either system "fair". While Home Secretary writes off evidence of how fundamentally harmful and discriminatory her policies are as "privileged elites", these policies will absolutely destroy people's lives, and wreck the country #r4today
While it feels like I'm repeatedly slamming my head against a brick wall repeating this massively simple concept. Saying "Reform would be worse" doesn't make what Labour is doing better. Labour is now the most anti-immigration, anti-any marginalised group, government we have seen in decades. 1/
Very long thread: As with many of Labour's anti-immigration policies, this isn't new. British police have been stationed in other countries for this purpose for a long time
It does however show how Labour is pushing more on anti-immigration than previous governments. 1/

Deep breath, once more for those at the back, seeking asylum is not illegal. No matter route used, which considering Labour has closed pretty much all the last remaining alternatives means irregular ones.
Anti-immigration sentiments are stoked by politicians like Mahmood, not people seeking safety.

🌍 42.5m refugees
Over 70% of them are hosted by low- and middle-income countries.

🇬🇧 548k refugees
= 0.78% of the UK population.

It is not refugees who tear our country apart, it is the mainstreaming of far right policies. And that’s a risk to all of us.

My letter to my MP.
