He had the chance to take a strong stance as leader and blew it , sitting on the fence trying to decide best way to jump & not lose) Looked weak and disrespectful. Not sure he can come back from this. People seeing him for what we already knew.

Doesn’t listen, doesn’t read a room or even learn the most basic Tikanga before such an important day. Chucking that beautiful blanket on the ground, not responding to the 2 hours of grievances and just reading off his rehashed 2023 script, which sent everyone to sleep. No mana.

Yes. Can’t help thinking all the treaty stirring is designed to get outrage and attention while other huge things like this and mining consents are pushed through without any due process.

It’s so bizarre that it hadn’t even been hashed out in parliament. No public input. Can’t believe many people agree with this. It’s our proud history & world standing being wrecked, apart from disagreeing with this war mongering stance with abhorrence & misgivings.

That’s right. OMG forgot that bit. 😩

Wasn’t it Judith Collins who said she doesn’t care about ‘swamps’ or wetlands?

On the positive side, I made a batch of spicy plum sauce from plums on our trees👍Just neglected to find 2 stones in the cooked brew while blitzing. Sticky, hot Plum sauce needed to be cleaned off every surface including window and ceiling, my glasses and forehead. 🤣🤣

His book was a powerful tribute to his brave wife but it also reflected his amazing generosity to forgiveness. Worth a read!👏👏👏

I visited a chemist yesterday who was flat out helping visitors many from Aus, who’d had covid recently. They had massive problems with eardrums on flights. Didn’t realise this was a thing but know ops are put off for 7 weeks for lung safety. Not a cold!

I like it. Not really getting get upset over a change from sky to butterfly right now. There are bigger things to protest about. 🤣

Wow! Thought I’d try a trick with the pav and folded coconut into it. Was looking DO good but sank like a pancake in oven. Too heavy? Will be a chewy one but over it. Note to self. Don’t get overly creative before a big day🤣🤣

Have to agree. It’s also tone deaf to be parading in front of a huge TV in matchy P.J’s which is in stark contrast to so many experiencing tough times.

Sadly two of my Xmas moko gift card parcels haven’t arrived at their destinations. Other grandies ones got there over a week ago. Hope some bastido has not been into them. NZ post used to be so great. 😢
