Even though family isn’t here for Xmas, my moko circle of 12, under the cherry tree we planted, represents each. Every large river stone dug up under 10-15cm topsoil, repurposed in garden. Birthdate & representation for each. They check out when visiting to check theirs is ok.🤣

Just finished reading Dr Emma Espiner’s “ There’s a Cure For This.” Raw, intelligent, thought provoking, it would make good reading for our current NACTZ with regard to our rewinding of Te Aka Whai Ora. Going into remote areas during training, Emma confronts equity reality.

This beautiful photo reminds me of the exhibition in New Plymouth art gallery. Pacific Islanders had created art from washed up fishing twine etc to draw attention to amount of rubbish in water.

Very exciting. Fruit on the way! Our odd vine has been giving fruit over Winter & still ongoing. Very exciting are the almonds on tree. Never grown them before.

We’ve had 1-2 rescues but after choosing Leo as a pup he missed our old rescue girl so much whwn she died. We went back for a brother by another mother a year later. Totally different personalities but bonded pair these boys. Make us laugh every day even uf it’s a rough day. ❤️

I read lots. Mostly fiction but also other stuff. Came across a surprising book in little local library. Being Mortal is about illness, age, medicine& what really matters in the end. Hubbie read it too & we had good chat about it. Different cultural perspectives gave lots of thought.

2. I care about the future of our country for our kids & grandkids as do many others. I just want to shake the shit out of our peers who are frustrating in their smugness & complacency. No I’m not advocating violence really 🤣🤣 This great chihuahua GIF sums it up.

No. I care about our kids and grandkids and the country we will leave behind for them. Many care as I do but I want to shake the shit out of the blank complacency of many of our peers. It’s not their problem. Arrrgh! I’m actually not advocating violence🤣🤣The thought is there though

Just slowly finding my way on this new platform. Trying to connect with my tweet family. Fathers Dad recently brought up an old photo of my Dad from early 40’s after he made his unicycle with his brothers. The three of them cycled from Ngaio to Wellington & made front page on the old Dominion.
