I've been making these felt cats and little scenes to put them in this year. Mostly been posting it on my Instagram (hockenbear). Trying to do more on here but still getting back into posting. I quit Twitter quite awhile ago cause I hated it so trying to dip back into something like it is weird.

At the food pantry I volunteer at we were absolutely swamped today and by many first timers. We ran out of whole categories of food. Please donate cash to your local organization if you at all can.

Right now, Donald Trump, Kash Patel, Kristi Noem, and other officials are participating in a panel about "Antifa," threatening to "destroy the entire organization [sic] from top to bottom."

This is a good time to revisit our guide to preparing for repression:

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine,"

That's... usually not the case!

In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using.

We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that?
