It's easy and safe to be an anarchist in Germany or the US and warmonger from a distance about Ukraine because you're not (yet) the one who's going to be conscripted and forced to use Israeli weapons, like if you were in Latvia.

On this day in 1910, the Mexican Revolution *officially* begins, tho small-scale uprisings had already taken place in preceding years. Madero called for a general uprising on Nov. 20th & the restoration of land to Indigenous peasants, yet he was not a radical & the revolution continued against him.

"For us, the military is an integral part of fascism. The army is the characteristic instrument of authoritarianism."

The Durruti Column was not alone in rejecting militarism. The Madrid sector militias even went so far as to characterize militarism as the opposite of anarchism.

the Durruti column here EXPLICITLY REJECTS the state organization & top-down hierarchical authoritarian implementation of militarization, insisting on their efficacy of informal militant resistance. anarchist ethics of non-passively resisting war have a long history of rhetoric & action

You can call all forms of social organization "governance" if you want, it's not going to change them into a State. As Engels said, you can have a highly-organized society without a state, and changing the words doesn't change the thing itself.
social organization based on voluntary cooperation and free association is still a form of governance. People are not going to live in a structureless society by choice. It is completely inefficient and deadly.

One of the most ridiculous things the pro-NATO anarchists have done in recent years is liken their own enthusiastic enlistment in the Ukrainian army & voluntary militarist propaganda with the actions of the Spanish anarchist militias in the Civil War. Worlds apart.
