just gonna throw out a quick reminder that in America police kill a yearly average of 3 civilians per day, routinely in situations very similar to these ICE killings, and decades of explicit support for police impunity by US politicians is why ICE feels theyre able to get away with this right now

Nonviolence is, in fact, working. This administration is weaker than it was a year ago. More and more of the public is becoming galvanized against it; its agents are being impeded.

I don't think the shit goes back into the donkey, at least at a national level, so I suggest adding a fourth category of VAT called social-harm premium. It's 500%, and the first category to be premium rated is covert digital recording devices.
