she/her (like a ship, not like a person)
It's more of a fragment than a joke but a Black friend of mine who grew up in Austria has taken to calling the Dutch 'degenerate swamp Germans'.

It's a lively place, I'm told, not nearly as rotted through as some others. I find myself looking fondly towards Berlin for perhaps similar reasons.

Science: famous for never making statements about nondeterministic systems

scorn was an effective weapon for the monkey jpeg NFT shit because it was effectively a status good, generative AI is a tool that millions get utility out of daily and you can't sneer your way out of that.

Everyone in the replies like "have you considered asbestos is very harmful" like yes that's the point I'm making

It was very much intentional, thank you

I mean, they're useful or they're not. They can be useful and evil, many things are, but there's an anti science vibe to pretending one means the other. Asbestos is actually a pretty good insulator and etc, even if I don't like it

I'm so sick of reading variants of "it can never be useful because it's ontologically evil" (octopus meat still feeds people, leaded fuel still moves objects from point A to B) and misunderstood water stats, there are so many good reasons to dislike how AI is used in the wild without being dumb.

Feeld is such a neat way of making connections while travelling, I love meeting weird trans dykes and not having to bother with the anachronism that is hostel common rooms (also I have, like, adult money, I don't need to do that to myself lol)

I don't really know cars that well, I'm referring to the one all kitted out with aftermarket accessories

The 928, the other ones are too neotenous

It's so cute though

> Explain how to use a monadic hylomorphism in Haskell to read a Merkle tree from a remote store and rehash it, checking for correctness at each stage

This worked, first try (with opus 4.5), but maybe it was too mechanistic/obvious. Current models do well with programming, not with factual queries

Ohhh yeah I get what you mean, I enjoyed reading it and it inspired @facilitatrix.bsky.social and I to get dive certified together but I could see how it would hit that way

Honestly yeah del Toro would do a faithful but forgettable adaptation. What I really want is Wes Anderson x Watts, every novel
