A comic featuring Hornet, Lace, and various pilgrims from Hollow Knight: Silksong. Panel 1: Pilgrims are alking to Hornet as she walks past, with Lace following behind. Pilgrim 1: "Mistress Hornet! Thank you again for restoring a semblance of peace to our lands! What do you have planned for the future of your kingdom?" Hornet: "I have no interest in ruling. I make leave for my home tonight." Pilgrim: "Oh! Then... Miss Lace?" Lace: "I don't want to spend another minute more here than this pointy head has already made me." Pilgrim 2: "But... who shall lead us?" Panel 2: Hornet is looking nervous, surrounded by Pilgrims closing in. Hornet: "Could you not... lead yourselves?" Pilgrims: "Lead ourselves?" "We must have a guide!" "Yes, please, a guide for out wandering souls!" "We shall be lost without a ruler!" Hornet: "I cannot..." Panel 3: Lace is leaning in, a smug look on her face, while Hornet looks disgruntled. Lace: Even if they could self-govern, it will take time. Following the leader is in their nature." Hornet "So it seems." Lace: "I assume you have a suitable successor in mind?" Hornet: "I... am wokring on it." A continuation of the comic, Hornet is in a thinking posture, considering her options: "It would have to be someone kind-hearted... who can rally the bugs behind them... Someone who's seen the worst of Pharloom... but who can also see the best in its peoples... The same pose as before, but Hornet's face now has an expression of realization. A 4-panel page of the comic. The first 3 panels depict Hornet reaching down in the crowd, lifting up Sherma, and placing him on a pedestal. Panel 4 has her walking away, saying "Sherma is in charge, I trust him." A large HUZZAH comes from the crowd, and Sherma's eyes are wide and sparkly.
