THE THIRD AGE He's had this dream before. The sky is wailing, wind howling around him at a ferocity to sound like thousands of whistling birds, the cries and sobs of mothers losing their children, men grieving over the grave of their brother, an animal trapped and dying in a knot of wire and barbs. He's weeping along with the storm, though he doesn't know why. The sheer grief is like a physical feeling, velveteen and soaked-through so that it chafes, tearing at his shoulders, his hair, his hips. A deluge of tears grabs at his feet, trying to sweep him into the maelstrom of agony. It's as though his bones are electric, itching under his skin. The rain bites sharp enough on his arms and face to turn it tender and red. He could so easily scratch clean to the bone, free this restless and awful energy and give himself over to the storm. He can't let it. He can't go down, cannot let himself become one with the gnashing teeth of the ocean. The idea of it fills him with a primal fear. There is no ground beneath his feet, just rushing water. He looks up, squinting against the rain and trying to find any indication of where he is, some presence of stars or -. Or… The moon. He cannot see the moon. Soap falls to his knees, overcome with a grief he can't explain, cannot name. It claws its way through his ribcage, pierces his heart like a blade. The water starts to rise, hands made of shadows and salt clawing at his thighs, his stomach, reaching up to circle his throat. When he opens his mouth, he can do nothing but scream.

I have some pictures of my old stuff without any actual info on it; the front cover page was clear and took biro/marker like a dream, then it had my school crest and address and personal info et al. then the yellow note pages and pouch at the back behind the cheat sheets.
