And, hands down the most boring sporting event I ever attended: Toronto Blue Jays v Texas Rangers - baseball. It was immediately apparent to the people around me that the Rangers were going to win so they lost all interest in what was going on and instead focused on fast food and beer. I had no clue

Just to be clear, I totally support your aims. But, it’s incredibly frustrating for those who have to save to travel that flying is usually by far the cheapest option.

The “journey should be part of the experience” argument only works for the time rich wealthy (not an insignificant % of fliers) but a video with 2 very posh people talking about travel…? I’m not sure it helps (well, it irritated me lol)

Perfectly great for someone beyond retirement age with massive wealth (relatively). I went to a conference in Cologne by train, it was a great way to travel but cost 3 times as much as flying. Someone else paid the bill.
